Cemetery Etiquette
Cemetery Etiquette
Naturally, you’ll want to be considerate of those who are mourning when attending a funeral or visiting the cemetery. Still, it’s not always clear what that looks like in practice. What words are appropriate? How should you dress? Is it customary to bring something for the family? And what’s the best way to show support?
We want every visitor to feel comfortable during their time at Brooklawn Memorial Park. The guidelines below are here to help you feel at ease while also honoring the peace and dignity of these sacred grounds.
